South Dakota Fishing Report 7/5/2005
Fishing has bean fair to excellent depending on the fishermen. The guides have been catching 40 - 80 walleyes per day coming in with limits of most or all of their fish over 15 inches. Most days the guide boats will catch 1 to 4 walleyes over 18 inches.
The bite on Francis Case has been shallow for the most part. We are fishing from 6 to 15 feet of water with a spinner and a crawler. The best bite is from Kiowa to the dam with scattered reports of limits from Oacoma flats to White River.
The bite on Sharpe has been deep. Depths from 16 to 35 feet. The best area has been from Lower Brule to the Pump House and in the West Bend area. Spinner and a Crawler has been best.
Look forward to seeing you
Garry and Mike Allen
