South Dakota Missouri River Fishing Report 6/20/2005
The fishing on Lake Sharpe and Francis Case has been good to excellent. The fish on Sharpe are from 18 - 35 feet of water. Bottom bouncer, spinner, and a crawler have been best. There are limits caught from South of the Grain Bens to West Bend trees.
On Lake Francis Case the fishing has been excellent around the dam to Crow Creek. Spinner and a crawler have been best. A majoriy of the fish are being caught in depths less than 15 foot. There are lots of limits coming out of the fast water. 3 way swivels with a 4 to 5 oz weight along with a floating rapala is best.
The guides have been consistently producing nice stringers of walleyes. We expect the fishing to stay good until the first part of August.
Look forward to seeing you
Garry and Mike Allen
