South Dakota Fishing Report 8/24/2008

Fishing has still been good on Lake Sharpe from Grain Bens to North of West Bend. You have to go through some numbers of walleyes, but you can still come in with limits of 14 - 18 inch walleyes. The guides are occassionally catching a few walleyes from 18 - 22 inches. Crawlers and Crank Baits still seem to work the best. The fish are from 10 - 20 feet of water.

There have been scattered reports of a decent bite from Kiowa Flats to the dam. The fish have been running from 14 - 18 inches in that area.

Make sure and plan one last vacation with your family over the Labor Day Holiday.
